Andrew Mark Sauerwein

This work was composed for Blacknall Memorial Presbyterian Church (Durham, NC) and first performed on Good Friday in 2002 under the direction of Dave Stuntz.  It employs the last three lines of John Donne's "Crucifying," the fifth in a cycle of seven Holy Sonnets whose first and last lines link them into a ring.
